Welcome and thank you for visiting our web page. Metric Steel Services was established in 1993 by the present owner Ricki Allen. From a small stainless steel trading company we have transformed into a significant import export house based in Johannesburg South Africa.
We represent numerous large stainless steel mills across the globe from India to Korea. Whether you are looking for 500 tons of Duplex stainless steel plate or 1 length of 6mm round bar you will receive the same professional, courteous service from us. We typically export into the African continent to various blue chip mining houses in a variety of countries.

We have been a member of the SASSDA (Southern African Stainless Steel Development Association) for over ten years. We currently hold an Exempt Micro Enterprise BEE Certificate.

We also offer steel services to various local industries. All our steel services centres operate to ISO 9001: 2008 standardization.

Although our primary exports are in the stainless steel industry we also trade various mining supplies from roof sheeting and cladding to trommel screens and conveyors.
